Footjoy's XtremeOutsole design combines TPU lateral side outriggers, a Lightweight Fiberglass Support Structure and Footjoy's HeelLoc Zone. The TPU outriggers extend beyond the upper sole to deliver an ultra-wide platform for maximum ground contact. The added Support Structure provides a lateral and medial wrap to support a golfer's mid-foot and the HeelLoc Zone is designed to provide Anti-slip technology in the heel area of the XPS-1.

The FJ XPS-1 provides a custom fit and innovative 3D Viscoelastic GelCollar, whilst a LaserPlus Last is formed specifically to match the shape of a golfer's foot. The XPS-1 is further enhanced by a Multi-Density Fit-Bed and EVA insert designed to improve cushioning and shock absorption.
